WEBVTT
00:00:05.927 --> 00:00:08.230
and welcome back to pastor plex podcast.
00:00:08.230 --> 00:00:10.153
I am your host, pastor plec.
00:00:10.153 --> 00:00:11.840
Joining me is pastor holland greg.
00:00:11.840 --> 00:00:13.824
Welcome back, holland, hello.
00:00:13.824 --> 00:00:29.774
Hey, we're talking about the sermon from sunday, which was on the romans road, and if you're not familiar with the romans road, that is a way of sharing the gospel, and you know the verses for the romans road, I do romans 3.23, romans 6.23, romans 5.8, romans 10.9.
00:00:30.000 --> 00:00:33.064
Yeah, does it bother you that it goes out of order?
00:00:33.064 --> 00:00:35.466
Oh, does it 3, 6, 5, 10.
00:00:35.466 --> 00:00:37.847
Yeah, no, it's kind of like leapfrog If you see it like that.
00:00:37.847 --> 00:00:39.063
Oh, I like that.
00:00:39.063 --> 00:00:40.064
It's fine that way.
00:00:40.064 --> 00:00:44.195
Okay, because the 323, 623, you got the 23s connection.
00:00:44.215 --> 00:00:44.917
Yeah, and it's a doubling.
00:00:44.917 --> 00:00:48.249
Yeah, the doubling of the 5 to the 10, the doubling of 3 to 6.
00:00:48.329 --> 00:00:51.969
Yeah, there's a lot of ways that I can be okay with it going out of order.
00:00:54.481 --> 00:00:57.469
Now, have you ever used the Roman's road to lead somebody to Christ?
00:00:57.469 --> 00:01:03.195
I have, okay, so tell me, like, at the end of it, what do you say at the end after they go?
00:01:03.195 --> 00:01:04.236
They believe it.
00:01:04.236 --> 00:01:04.676
What do you do?
00:01:06.177 --> 00:01:08.605
After they believe it, if they like, confess.
00:01:08.859 --> 00:01:12.069
If they go because do you have, give me your, do you go?
00:01:12.069 --> 00:01:14.484
Do you have them read the verse or do you read it to them?
00:01:14.725 --> 00:01:19.766
Oh, it depends, you know, if we're like on the street doing evangelism, it's one thing If I'm.
00:01:19.766 --> 00:01:26.156
Recently I sat down in someone's apartment big family who all wanted to learn how to be a Christian.
00:01:26.156 --> 00:01:29.129
Everyone got Bibles out and we went through the Romans road.
00:01:29.129 --> 00:01:33.188
I had each of them read a verse and we talked about it, and so it depends on the situation.
00:01:33.359 --> 00:01:33.760
Do you remember?
00:01:33.760 --> 00:01:37.709
In prison ministry, you go all right, are you a sinner?
00:01:37.709 --> 00:01:39.111
Are you a sinner?
00:01:39.111 --> 00:01:40.134
Yes, Are you a sinner.
00:01:40.134 --> 00:01:42.403
And is that the way you did it with the 10 kids?
00:01:44.388 --> 00:01:46.272
Not exactly Similar, though.
00:01:46.272 --> 00:01:51.091
The same thing of just asking do you believe that you're a sinner?
00:01:51.091 --> 00:01:58.355
Not just pointing at them directly, but the same idea of having each person respond Okay.
00:01:59.281 --> 00:02:04.171
And after they say yes, that they believe that Jesus rose from the dead.
00:02:04.171 --> 00:02:05.513
What do you do then?
00:02:07.960 --> 00:02:10.948
I encourage them to pray and repent from their sin.
00:02:10.948 --> 00:02:12.230
Pray and then-.
00:02:12.960 --> 00:02:16.711
Do you lead them through a prayer or do you just kind of like say, go for it?
00:02:17.921 --> 00:02:18.808
Lead them through a prayer.
00:02:18.971 --> 00:02:20.080
Yeah, yeah, I do too.
00:02:20.080 --> 00:02:27.252
I know there's been a lot of criticism of the sinner's prayer, but I'm kind of a fan.
00:02:27.252 --> 00:02:28.875
I am too Like what else do you do?
00:02:28.875 --> 00:02:32.269
I mean, now, here's the way I've changed it or modified it.
00:02:32.269 --> 00:02:49.186
So there's one verse that I like to add in which I feel works it's not in the Romans, but it helps out the whole process of praying In Luke 11, 13, it says how much more will the Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to anyone who asks Him?
00:02:49.385 --> 00:02:51.822
So I say, hey, would you like to ask for the Holy Spirit to come into your life?
00:02:51.822 --> 00:02:54.927
And so they're like sure.
00:02:54.927 --> 00:02:58.054
And I go, okay, well, are you a sinner?
00:02:58.054 --> 00:03:00.125
They're like, yeah, do you want forgiveness?
00:03:00.125 --> 00:03:01.929
Yeah, do you believe Jesus died on the cross for your sins?
00:03:01.929 --> 00:03:03.614
Yes, believe he rose from the dead?
00:03:03.614 --> 00:03:06.139
Yes, do you want to ask the Holy Spirit to come into your life?
00:03:06.139 --> 00:03:10.383
Yes, and then I essentially pray that because I feel like that is a part.
00:03:10.383 --> 00:03:14.604
You know, you've heard people like praying Jesus into your heart, and I'm not thumbs down on that.
00:03:14.604 --> 00:03:19.049
I just want to make sure that they understand the Holy Spirit is what dwells them.
00:03:19.049 --> 00:03:28.205
You know you're joining Jesus on in oneness, so does it come to your heart.
00:03:28.205 --> 00:03:31.151
Sure, yeah, yeah.
00:03:31.151 --> 00:03:34.967
So I know that's got a lot of criticism over the years, but I still think it works.
00:03:35.508 --> 00:03:36.311
I think it works too.
00:03:36.311 --> 00:03:37.293
Yeah, great, all right.
00:03:37.293 --> 00:03:40.086
So let's talk about Joel.
00:03:40.086 --> 00:03:43.393
Preached and he shared his story, which is pretty crazy.
00:03:43.393 --> 00:03:47.681
Preached and he shared his story, which is pretty crazy.
00:03:47.681 --> 00:03:50.969
What got his attention was his car flipped over four times on the interstate heading to Mississippi from Austin, texas.
00:03:50.969 --> 00:03:53.262
And that's when he said you know what?
00:03:53.262 --> 00:03:58.080
I think I've fallen short Time to believe in God, time to believe in Jesus.
00:03:58.080 --> 00:04:01.905
And he said his life transformed from that point.
00:04:02.025 --> 00:04:14.330
Now, I know, not everybody has a car-flipping experience, but we can all recognize that we fall short and that's the whole point of Romans 3.23, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.
00:04:14.330 --> 00:04:21.767
The whole point of that verse is to remind us all that nobody comes as a Christian, as if they've already arrived.
00:04:21.767 --> 00:04:33.228
And the thing about Romans is, I think he's running to the church in Rome, so he's assuming everybody already there is a Christian.
00:04:33.228 --> 00:04:46.548
But even as a Christian, you look back, it's not like anyone came believing, not that anyone came redeemed, that they had to go through some metamorphosis in their spiritual life where they're recognized they were dead in sin to be alive forever.
00:04:46.548 --> 00:04:49.254
And I think some people have they struggle with that.
00:04:49.716 --> 00:04:50.220
Yeah, yeah.
00:04:50.220 --> 00:05:00.134
I also think Paul is mindful of the fact that there's going to be unregenerate people in every church who are attending and maybe think they're Christians but actually aren't.
00:05:00.134 --> 00:05:19.891
People who think that they are saved but aren't saved, and so he's regularly saying things like test yourself, see if you're in the faith.
00:05:19.891 --> 00:05:21.692
Right, if you, you know, continue to audience.
00:05:21.692 --> 00:05:30.266
As well as those who would read his letters throughout time, there might be people who go to church, think they're a Christian but don't understand the gospel and so need to understand.
00:05:30.266 --> 00:05:32.913
Oh, I actually do fall short.
00:05:33.579 --> 00:05:36.629
We have this problem a lot and I don't know if it's really a problem.
00:05:36.629 --> 00:05:45.706
I think it's actually a great thing, but people think they're members of the church because they've been attending here for like a month or two or longer.
00:05:45.706 --> 00:05:48.603
Do you ever have that problem at Eastside?
00:05:49.365 --> 00:05:53.524
Yeah, you mean think they're like in terms of your formal membership process?
00:05:53.543 --> 00:05:57.100
Yeah, they think they're a full member and a Christian and all the things.
00:05:57.661 --> 00:06:11.209
And then when you sort of like we have people who visit one time who come to church three times a year and say that we're their home church and they're members, and they really sincerely mean it, because they're coming from going to church zero times a year and so we're the one they go to three times their home church.
00:06:11.490 --> 00:06:13.803
Yeah, so why do you, why do you guys do a membership process?
00:06:13.803 --> 00:06:14.526
Just curious.
00:06:15.449 --> 00:06:15.550
Um.
00:06:15.550 --> 00:06:28.785
So it comes from uh, hebrews 13, where you know it says obey your leaders, um, and says that they're keeping watch over your souls, um, as those who give an account.
00:06:28.785 --> 00:06:41.689
And so there's a reality of um that implies a covenantal relationship where you know who your leaders are and you have chosen to submit to them, and your leaders know who you are and are, feel the responsibility for your soul care.
00:06:41.689 --> 00:06:50.329
And so, because of that um, it's important to know the condition of your flocks, which that's what membership process and membership is for.
00:06:50.329 --> 00:06:54.711
Know the condition of your flocks, know who the people are that are submitting to your leadership.
00:06:54.711 --> 00:07:00.589
Let them know what submission looks like in this local context, so that you can shepherd them well.
00:07:00.829 --> 00:07:03.021
Yeah, and I think that's something so important that's.
00:07:03.021 --> 00:07:12.023
Our same standard with our church is that we have got to get to a place where we're understanding that we love to invite anybody can come into our church.
00:07:12.023 --> 00:07:14.427
Anybody can come hear the gospel.
00:07:14.427 --> 00:07:23.293
We want you to come, no matter where you are in life, no matter what sins you're like actively pursuing.
00:07:23.293 --> 00:07:25.464
Yeah, like that's come.
00:07:25.464 --> 00:07:35.603
Come and hear the gospel, come and hear hope, because the only reason that you're doing that is you haven't found something better, and I want to let you know that there is something way better.
00:07:35.603 --> 00:07:39.132
Now that gets us to where Joel preached about.
00:07:39.132 --> 00:07:43.189
But Mark 10, a guy who thought he already had better, but he was still empty.
00:07:43.189 --> 00:07:45.653
He runs up to Jesus.
00:07:45.653 --> 00:07:47.026
You may know him as the rich young ruler.
00:07:47.026 --> 00:07:56.391
He runs up to Jesus, bows down kneels before Jesus and says good teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?
00:07:56.391 --> 00:08:01.504
Now, if there was ever a layup for a salvation message, you would think this would be it.
00:08:01.504 --> 00:08:03.899
Boom Romans wrote it right.
00:08:04.062 --> 00:08:06.644
Romans wrote it right here Come on, jesus Doesn't do that.
00:08:06.644 --> 00:08:08.428
And and why do you think that is?
00:08:08.428 --> 00:08:11.826
Why do you think when he's given the layup, he doesn't go straight for?
00:08:11.826 --> 00:08:14.980
Oh slam dunk, You're a sinner, I'm going to the cross.
00:08:14.980 --> 00:08:16.302
All you gotta do is believe in me.
00:08:16.302 --> 00:08:17.723
What do you think he's hitting at here?
00:08:18.625 --> 00:08:24.072
Jesus, I think, is always looking at the heart behind the question, not just the question itself.
00:08:24.072 --> 00:08:38.056
He's playing chess while he's playing check Boom, exactly, he is going okay, like he knows what's going on in this guy's heart and mind, you know, and wants to address that rather than just the question on the surface.
00:08:38.056 --> 00:08:44.613
And so you know, when he says good teacher, his response why do you call me good?
00:08:44.613 --> 00:08:46.496
No one is good except God alone, right?
00:08:46.577 --> 00:08:48.768
In fact, we got a question on that specific one.
00:08:48.768 --> 00:08:51.466
Let me read it from our uh uh.
00:08:51.466 --> 00:08:56.076
Here it is.
00:08:56.076 --> 00:09:01.644
It says from our texting and you can always text us in at 737-231-0605.
00:09:01.644 --> 00:09:04.097
Hi, I have a question about this.
00:09:04.097 --> 00:09:09.917
When Jesus says that nobody is good except for God alone, why does he say that If he is God?
00:09:09.917 --> 00:09:11.782
I'd love clarification.
00:09:12.690 --> 00:09:13.289
Great question.
00:09:13.870 --> 00:09:14.091
Yeah.
00:09:14.311 --> 00:09:24.597
So I think what I was just explaining I think is a partial answer to that question of Jesus is he asks things in cryptic ways.
00:09:24.597 --> 00:09:38.567
Sometimes he asks rhetorical questions or he gets behind the intent of what was asked, like he doesn't just give like, hey, here's the answer, because usually what's going on in someone's heart to bring up that question is the real thing that needs to be shepherded and addressed.
00:09:38.567 --> 00:09:52.921
So I think part of it is Jesus was he divulged more about himself to those who truly believed, he would refrain from doing miracles in certain places because of their lack of faith.
00:09:52.921 --> 00:10:02.200
But to those who were close to him, like, you know, his disciples, after he would teach a parable, he'd go sit them down and explain the parable to them.
00:10:02.200 --> 00:10:18.186
So he would usually he would not just kind of give everyone he didn't go around to the crowds always just saying, hey, I'm God, but he would give um statements that those who um trusted him um would understand Um, so that that's one of the ways that he kind of dealt with people.
00:10:18.610 --> 00:10:19.976
So I think there's some of that going on here.
00:10:19.976 --> 00:10:30.990
And then another part I think Jesus is, you know, he's drawing out more from this guy Number one, saying like he says good teacher.
00:10:30.990 --> 00:10:32.817
And Jesus says why do you call me good?
00:10:32.817 --> 00:10:35.960
I think he's addressing you have a wrong view of what good is, because the guy like ultimately thinks that he's good.
00:10:35.960 --> 00:10:42.298
I think he's addressing um, uh, you have a wrong view of what good is Right, um, because the guy like ultimately thinks that he's good.
00:10:42.298 --> 00:10:44.913
He's saying like I kept all the commandments, I'm good.
00:10:44.932 --> 00:10:53.395
He's thinking that Jesus is gooder, maybe yeah, or the you know Jesus is asking him this question to see is he going to make a confession?
00:10:53.395 --> 00:10:56.562
Is he going to confess Jesus as the christ and god, right?
00:10:56.562 --> 00:10:58.052
He says no one's good but god alone.
00:10:58.052 --> 00:11:02.871
And if this guy was, if this guy responded like, well, yeah, but that's you right, then he.
00:11:02.871 --> 00:11:07.221
That's why I'm calling you good you're in yes, exactly.
00:11:07.260 --> 00:11:09.451
But the guy doesn't say that he doesn't go.
00:11:09.451 --> 00:11:11.076
Well, yeah, you know, you're um.
00:11:11.076 --> 00:11:11.317
Like.
00:11:11.317 --> 00:11:11.999
You know, peter.
00:11:11.999 --> 00:11:15.273
When he's like you're the messiah, you're the son of god, you know um.
00:11:15.273 --> 00:11:21.302
Uh, he says no one is good except God alone.
00:11:21.302 --> 00:11:22.245
You know the commandments.
00:11:22.245 --> 00:11:24.116
And the guy's like yeah, I've done all those things.
00:11:24.610 --> 00:11:29.942
And so the guy, obviously he's not really recognizing Jesus as God and he's thinking that he's good.
00:11:29.942 --> 00:11:39.813
And so what Jesus is doing is he's drawing out what's going on in this guy's heart and it self-righteousness, and it's his idolatry of his wealth and possessions.
00:11:39.813 --> 00:11:45.975
And so I think that's what's going on, is Jesus is kind of like as a spiritual surgeon.
00:11:45.975 --> 00:11:51.196
He's doing spiritual surgery on the guy's heart and the guy resists it.
00:11:51.255 --> 00:11:56.655
So here's what I thought was interesting when he answers Jesus, you know he goes, cause he goes.
00:11:56.655 --> 00:11:57.577
Hey, why do you call me good?
00:11:57.577 --> 00:11:58.541
No one's good but God alone.
00:11:58.541 --> 00:12:00.274
And you know the commandments?
00:12:00.274 --> 00:12:01.038
Blah, blah, blah.
00:12:01.038 --> 00:12:01.730
And he goes.
00:12:01.730 --> 00:12:04.038
Teacher, not good teacher, teacher.
00:12:04.038 --> 00:12:07.198
So he downgrades Jesus from God.
00:12:07.198 --> 00:12:11.120
Yep Right, all these I've kept from my youth.
00:12:11.120 --> 00:12:14.500
In other words, I'm bearing false witness now.
00:12:14.500 --> 00:12:18.196
So at what point?
00:12:18.196 --> 00:12:20.282
And then Jesus loves him.
00:12:20.282 --> 00:12:22.193
So why not?
00:12:22.495 --> 00:12:24.441
This is the part where I got confused.
00:12:24.441 --> 00:12:31.716
Like you would think, if Jesus loved him he'd be like I love you enough to tell you the truth about your situation.
00:12:31.716 --> 00:12:35.520
Your riches are preventing you from heaven.
00:12:35.520 --> 00:12:38.418
You're going to hell, which I think he kind of does, but he doesn't.
00:12:38.418 --> 00:12:48.280
He's not like that explicit, but he does tell him exactly the very thing he needs to do to address the heart issue he has of his pride and of his arrogance and of his wealth.
00:12:48.280 --> 00:12:48.903
That puts him up.
00:12:48.903 --> 00:12:51.298
At least, I'm not like those people, I'm gooder.
00:12:51.298 --> 00:12:56.573
And then he goes, you know, go, sell all you have, forgive the poor, and you'll have treasure in heaven.
00:12:56.573 --> 00:12:58.436
You'll have eternal life, right, I would assume.
00:12:58.436 --> 00:13:02.419
Like you're going to have treasure waiting for you in heaven and then come follow me and I'll lead you there.
00:13:02.419 --> 00:13:07.004
And I think that's wild, that well one.
00:13:07.004 --> 00:13:10.530
Obviously he doesn't recognize as Jesus, I mean Jesus the Christ.
00:13:10.530 --> 00:13:16.740
He recognizes a gooder person maybe, but he can't conceive of that.
00:13:16.740 --> 00:13:21.436
Giving wealth away is what, ultimately, is going to gain him more.
00:13:22.099 --> 00:13:24.615
Yeah, and I don't know.
00:13:24.615 --> 00:13:30.159
Just side note about this too Sometimes when you love people, they walk away sad.
00:13:30.159 --> 00:13:40.019
And Jesus you know you think like if you tell someone a hard truth and they walk away sad, sometimes you might doubt yourself or other people would criticize you.
00:13:40.019 --> 00:13:41.942
You should have been more loving, but you did yeah.
00:13:42.102 --> 00:13:43.556
Yeah, like, why did you say why?
00:13:43.556 --> 00:13:47.376
You know this person was seeking an answer, why did you give them a hard truth?
00:13:47.376 --> 00:14:05.235
And you know that's exactly what Jesus did, though, and Jesus says, looking at him, he loved him and said this very hard thing that made him walk away, and, you know, jesus cut to the chase, essentially said here here's the one point at which you know you're unwilling to surrender that was not very seeker sensitive.
00:14:05.235 --> 00:14:06.701
Yeah, it was not at all.
00:14:07.910 --> 00:14:10.041
I don't know if that would have worked.
00:14:10.041 --> 00:14:18.630
I think he would have been chastised by the elders of his church if he had done right Like I mean.
00:14:18.630 --> 00:14:24.461
Imagine just like, if any pastor like went up to somebody and said hey, listen hey, what do I?
00:14:24.461 --> 00:14:25.956
What must I do in Herod Turnalive?
00:14:25.956 --> 00:14:27.918
Listen, I need you to sell everything you have.
00:14:27.918 --> 00:14:30.674
Give it to our benevolence ministry, then come to my house.
00:14:30.674 --> 00:14:32.833
Yeah, like what?
00:14:32.833 --> 00:14:35.301
I would probably be fired for that.
00:14:35.471 --> 00:14:36.054
But we give, we get.
00:14:36.054 --> 00:14:36.961
Maybe not exactly like that, but we give.
00:14:36.961 --> 00:14:45.937
Maybe not exactly like that, but as pastors we give those kind of hey, you need to move out from your girlfriend and you need to stop sleeping with your girlfriend.
00:14:45.937 --> 00:14:47.416
Move out, get a place of your own.
00:14:48.250 --> 00:14:55.376
This challenges me of like I'm not going far enough, like, hey, you with all your money give it all the poor and then come move in.
00:14:55.557 --> 00:15:01.365
Yeah, because there's times I think there's probably times where we've done that and the people have walked away sad and we feel like, dang, I screwed that up.
00:15:01.365 --> 00:15:07.340
I should do, I should be more gentle next time when, in reality, like you, actually did exactly what Jesus did and got the same result.
00:15:07.340 --> 00:15:22.346
And it's because you know, there's also the example of Jesus, the parable of the man who finds a treasure sells of the man who finds the treasure sells everything he has to buy that land so he can have that treasure.
00:15:22.365 --> 00:15:23.109
There may be another man.
00:15:23.109 --> 00:15:24.985
You know that Jesus gave that exact same instruction to who's like.
00:15:24.985 --> 00:15:25.206
You got it.
00:15:25.206 --> 00:15:26.695
Let's go like his disciples, right?
00:15:27.049 --> 00:15:32.701
Yeah, I think recently and it's funny because you know, when people listen to this they think I'm talking about them.
00:15:32.701 --> 00:15:48.836
I've had like several, several people come to me talking about their relationship and I'm like, hey, keep coming to church, but if you want to be a member then you're going to have to not sleep with your partner.
00:15:48.836 --> 00:15:58.658
And they are so at first, just like how dare you tell me who I can sleep with and who I can't sleep with?
00:15:58.658 --> 00:16:00.335
And that definitely is offensive.
00:16:00.335 --> 00:16:03.619
I don't feel so bad about that one, although the money one I probably would not be.
00:16:03.619 --> 00:16:05.815
Maybe this is where I need to grow my faith a little bit.
00:16:05.815 --> 00:16:09.495
Okay, so here's one.
00:16:09.495 --> 00:16:11.432
This is just, you know, many years ago.
00:16:11.451 --> 00:16:13.335
Oh, okay, did we answer the question?
00:16:13.335 --> 00:16:14.275
I don't know if we need to come back.
00:16:14.275 --> 00:16:14.917
I Did we answer the question?
00:16:14.937 --> 00:16:15.918
I don't know if we need to come back.
00:16:15.918 --> 00:16:16.698
I kind of got off track, yeah, yeah.
00:16:16.698 --> 00:16:17.841
But I have to tell this one story Because I did.
00:16:17.841 --> 00:16:30.024
A woman one time came up to me and she's like really frustrated alive and I said, hey, give 10,000, I think to the benevolence or to something, give 10,000 to some.
00:16:30.024 --> 00:16:40.839
Maybe it was a fundraiser we were having at the time and the problem is you never need God to come through for you, so give it away and then see what happens.
00:16:40.860 --> 00:16:50.873
And almost every time I've ever done that, like God has done incredible things and moved in that person's heart and okay, I guess it did that person at first, like nothing happened, like they just got angrier and more bitter.
00:16:50.873 --> 00:16:54.642
And they did give and I was like, huh, maybe that doesn't always work.
00:16:54.642 --> 00:17:02.557
And then, you know, years after they left the church because that didn't go very well, they called me and said, hey, I just want you to know I'm really praying for your church.
00:17:02.557 --> 00:17:03.881
And blah, blah, it was really sweet.
00:17:03.881 --> 00:17:05.336
My whole heart's been changed.
00:17:05.336 --> 00:17:06.772
I have the Holy Spirit.
00:17:06.772 --> 00:17:08.499
That's filled me up, so maybe it was good.
00:17:08.499 --> 00:17:09.060
That's awesome.
00:17:09.060 --> 00:17:10.152
It's wild.
00:17:10.172 --> 00:17:14.157
When you look back in the moment you're like gosh, did I read that one wrong?
00:17:14.157 --> 00:17:21.836
Because she definitely went away sad, and then it was like you know, almost to the point of like who was that?
00:17:21.836 --> 00:17:32.190
Again, years later, and then she was like, hey, that I still pray for you, I'm grateful for the church, and the Lord is still moving in my life and I was like I was really encouraged anyway.
00:17:32.190 --> 00:17:35.776
So you're right, maybe be bold is all.
00:17:35.776 --> 00:17:36.931
As a pastor, you just never know.
00:17:36.931 --> 00:17:38.336
Alright, let's get back to the question.
00:17:38.336 --> 00:17:47.904
The question was why does, why does he say that, say that no one's good but God alone?
00:17:47.904 --> 00:17:51.349
If he is God yeah, and I think we answered it it's.
